Transparency Policies
Among the policies we implemented over the past years to ensure transparency in the conduct of our operations, our Antifraud and Anti- Money-Laundering policies are worth noting.
On March 23, 2006, TGS's Board approved our Antifraud Policy, with the objective to pursue concepts introduced by the Code of Conduct. The main principles are:
- To define the accountability of the Audit Committee in the performance of research that may arise from the reporting of misconduct.
- To determine that TGS’s means of communication, including the electronic mails under the dominion @tgs.com.ar are owned by the company and can be used only if necessary. For this purpose, along with the Code of Conduct, the employees have received the chapter corresponding to Antifraud Policy for their agreement and signature
- To set forth an annual assessment on fraud risk, in order to identify the main risks involved in each process and to set up the required controls.
The policy of Anti Money-Laundering implies preventive controls focused on the early detection of potential laundry risks.
