Our day-to-day operations involve the identification of those aspects that might adversely affect the environment, and the assessment of normal and exceptional operating scenarios, as well as any predictable emergency. Factors that might generate a greater impact on the Environment are controlled by a system that keeps them in check. This system includes prevention maintenance activities, equipment calibration and verification routines, periodic overhauls and emergency plans.
Our continuous improvement process also includes the monitoring of all programmed control actions to ensure compliance with the programs and to assess results, with the aim to eventually introduce improvements if results turn out to be not as expected.
The certification of
TGS Environmental Management System under Standard ISO 14,001 has been maintained since October 1998, which shows our commitment to continuous improvement and environmental protection.
