Shareholders
TGS’s controlling shareholder is Compañía de Inversiones de Energía S.A. (“CIESA”), which holds approximately 55.3% of our company’s common stock. The remaining ownership of TGS’s common stock is listed in Buenos Aires and New York Stock Exchange markets.
CIESA is owned 50% by Petrobras Energía and a subsidiary of said company, which together constitute the “Petrobras Energía Group”; 40% by an Argentine affiliate of ABN AMRO BANK N.V. Trust; and the remaining 10% by a subsidiary of Enron Corp.
