Our Commitment
We demonstrate our commitment by working systematically and improving our performance on environmental matters, using the ISO 14001 standard as a key tool.
We have specific procedures in place to detect and control those aspects that could potentially have negative environmental impacts.
As part of this environmental commitment, our policy also applies to our contractors, from whom we require compliance with the same standards, implementing the recommendations of the environmental protection plans necessary for each project.
Our management is based on adhering to current legislation, following environmental management procedures and plans, and ensuring the responsible actions of each member of the organization to prevent environmental impacts and conduct our business sustainably.

Our purpose is to prevent pollution and preserve the natural resources that surround us and that we use in the operation of the company. Strengthening our environmental commitment, in 2022 we introduced the 2022-2026 Five-Year Environmental Plan, building on all these notable precedents. This plan integrates environmental considerations into every phase of our business processes, from strategic decision-making to risk and opportunity management, planning, design, and execution of activities.

Methane Emissions Reduction Plan
As part of our commitments, we have implemented a comprehensive action plan for our emissions, which includes investments, improvements, and the necessary practices to achieve this goal.
At TGS, we measure our carbon footprint and report the emissions from each of our sources. We have an Emissions Map that allows us to understand our emissions profile and establish an action plan, tracking our commitment to reduce methane emissions by 50% by 2030 (compared to 2021).
Biodiversity
We are committed to protecting ecosystems and always strive to avoid or mitigate negative impacts on the biodiversity of our surroundings.
We have a Forestry and Biodiversity Policy, whose main objective is to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions released into the atmosphere during operations and enhance ecosystem services. Our policy establishes guidelines for the sustainable and conscious restoration and conservation of trees at our facilities, which are implemented in each reforestation plan across our company's sites.
Every year, we undertake various initiatives to promote biodiversity in each of the communities where we operate.
Effluent Management
Regarding the management of generated effluents, our goal is for 100% of our facilities to have treatment systems in place.
In 2024, we eliminated the discharge of treated sanitary effluents from the Galván Storage Plant (Bahía Blanca), making it a zero-effluent facility. This milestone highlights the commitment of those who manage the treatment system daily and is particularly significant given the location of the Galván Plant, an area with a significant water deficit. The water supply for Bahía Blanca relies on an aqueduct from a locality nearly 60 kilometers away.
Waste Management
As part of the Strategic Environmental Plan, we aim to promote comprehensive waste management across all our facilities.
Recyclable waste, such as paper and plastics, is sorted and sent to sustainable destinations for recovery and recycling. Domestic waste at all our facilities is composted for use as natural fertilizer in landscaping. 100% of our facilities are equipped with compost bins, where organic waste is recycled.
Responsible Water Use
Through the Strategic Environmental Plan, we set the goal of recovering 80% of treated water for irrigation by 2025. We have made progress in quantifying our direct water footprint to achieve more efficient management of this limited natural resource. This indicator represents a first step toward implementing efficient improvements in water management and raising awareness of our water consumption and usage.
